Zambia rugby union to unveil 2016 league sponsor

The Zambia Rugby Union will soon unveil a league sponsor for the 2016 rugby season.

Union president general, Clement Sinkamba, says the coming of the sponsor will bring competitiveness to the sport which has been hit with numerous challenges in the last three years.

Sinkamba says the Union is determined to bring more sponsors on board and has assured the sports fraternity that the sport will in the coming months host international tournaments.

He has furthers assured the country that the national teams will do better compared to last year because of the number of programmes the union has put in place for 2016.

He cites the one hundred and twenty thousand kwacha kit deal that was signed last year to dress the national men’s team and referees for 2015 and 2016 as one of the motivational factors for aiming to higher heights.
