Lusaka cholera death toll increases to three

One person has died from the deadly cholera disease in Lusaka’s shanty compound of Kanyama after contracting the disease.

This brings to three, the number of people who have died in the same compound since the disease broke out in Lusaka recording over 300 cases.

Lusaka Province Medical Officer Dr Kennedy Malama has confirmed the development to MUVI TV News.

Cholera broke out in February in the sprawling Kanyama shanty compound but the water-borne disease has spread to other parts of the city.
