Number of people cheated in employment scam swells

There are colossal numbers of people reporting to police who are alleged to have been swindled several millions of Kwacha in an employment scam by a Man of Lusaka’s Ibex Hill area posing as an employee of United Nations.

Zambia Police Service Spokesperson, Charity Munganga Chanda has confirmed the development saying he is an ex-convict.

Forty year old Jason Mwala who was spotted by alert people he allegedly swindled in Lusaka on Friday, is believed to have obtained money through false pretense on unknown dates and also purporting to be an employee at the United Nations.

He is currently detained at Lusaka division central police.
