African Life Assurance rebrands to Sanlam Life Insurance

Government has commended African life Assurance for the contribution it is making to complement government efforts in order to foster private sector participation in the delivery of financial projects particularly in the insurance industry.

Speaking at the unveiling of rebranding of the African Life Assurance Zambia Limited to Sanlam Life Insurance, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Raymond Mpundu said government is keen to see that the rebranding does not only end at name changing but translates into better services for the Zambian people.

And Chief Executive Officer of Sanlam from South Africa, Heinie Werth says the change of the name is to capitalize on the Sanlam brand which is well established across Africa.

Mr Werth says the company aims at creating more employment for Zambian people as well as investing into the Zambian economy as it wants to be responsible for the community, government and the stakeholders in the country.
