High number of marginalised women worries Esther Lungu

First Lady Esther Lungu says she is saddened with the way most women have been marginalized in society.

Mrs Lungu who was visited Chief Simwatachela said it is sad that several women have been left out of activities aimed at ensuring national development.

And Chief Simwatachela says the living standards of women in his chiefdom have slightly improved.

The chief has also appealed to government to consider addressing the road network and water challenges among others in the area to which Mrs Lungu ha promised to convey the concerns to the head of state for immediate attention.
