Shortage of health staff hits Itezhi-Tezhi District

A shortage of health staff has hit Itezhi-Tezhi district in central province.

District commissioner, Thomas Kaimana says the district is facing a deficit of human resource in health sector.

He adds that government should consider deploying more health personnel to the district.

And Central Province minister, Davies Chisopa has assured the district commissioner that the state will consider increasing the number of workers.

Meanwhile, General Nursing of Council has proposed that central province minister, Davies Chisopa should be bestowed with honorary membership for his relentless support to the health sector in the province.
