Mansa clinics in mattresses boost

Several clinics in Mansa District that are faced with critical shortage of mattresses have received a boost.

This follows the donation of mattresses, blankets and other materials to the ministry of health by the office of the mayor at the Mansa Municipal council.

The funds for the exercise were raised through the mayoral fundraising committee that was supported by several businesses houses in Mansa.

And Mansa Mayor Moonga Silondwa says his office wants to assist the community in areas they seek medical attention.

Meanwhile, Mansa Acting District Medical Officer Henry Zulu says several institutions in the area are faced with inadequate mattresses and that the gesture will help avert the problem.
