NURSES TOLD TO BE PASSIONATE

Government has urged nurses to remain prayerful and committed to their duties if they are to attain results in their noble profession.

Speaking at the launch of this years’ Nurses Day awareness program on the copperbelt, Kalulushi district administrative officer IsidoreTebulu says nurses play a critical in communities.

Mr. TEBULU says despite challenges faced in executing their duties nurses should apply passion to what they do.

And Zambia Union of Nurses Organization copperbelt chairperson Enerst Mumba has called on government to ensure that they create an enabling environment for nurse to work in.

The International Nurses day falls on May 12th annually with this year’s theme being; Nurses: A force for change, improving health systems and resilience.
