POLICE ASSURE ZAMBIANS OF NEUTRALITY AHEAD OF POLLS

Deputy Inspector General of Police Malcom Mulenga has assured Zambians that police will be neutral in protecting lives and properties of the ruling and opposition parties in this year’s general elections.

Mr. Mulenga says police will act professionally and citizens have no reason to fear.

Mr. Mulenga was speaking at the official opening of Pamodzi Community Police Post in Ndola.

And Home Affairs Minister Davies Mwila has admitted that the police service has been faced with challenges of securing working space for its officers.
