Zambia’s Land Administration Breaks Down

The Civic Forum on Housing and Habitat in Zambia has charged that the country’s land alienation procedure has broken down.
Organization Board Chairperson, Florence Shakafuswa attributes the break down to the infiltration of political cadres in land allocations.
She regrets that there seems to be no effective mechanism to remove political cadres from land management.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Shakafuswa says accessing urban land for housing is beyond affordability of majority Zambians.
