Lack Of Investment In Infrastructure Contributing To Lusaka Water Challenges

The Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company has attributed lack of investment in infrastructure by government and rapid population growth to persistent water challenges that the city has been grappling with.
LWSC Public Relations Manager Nshamba Muzungu says water reticulation has not grown to march the fast growing population.
Mr Muzungu says the demand for water in Lusaka is 450,000 cubic meters per day but that the company is only able to supply slightly above 100,000 cubic meters per day.
