Clergymen Turning Churches Into Political Fields Disappoint Ccz

The Council of Churches in Zambia-CCZ has noted with regret that the church has been turned into a political ground.
CCZ Chairperson Susan Matale says it is saddening that some clergymen are entertaining politics in their denominations to the extent of directly campaigning for particular political party leaders to their congregants.
Reverend Matale has since appealed to her fellow clergy to refrain from engaging in partisan politics and restore the church to its prophetic position.
She was speaking in an interview with MUVI TV NEWS in Lusaka.
