CSOs Petition Government Over Displaced Mine Area Settlers

Some Civil society organizations have protested in Lusaka demanding that government acts on the displacement of Zambians as a result mining activities.
The Civil society organizations drawn from across Africa and Australia say many citizens in mining areas have suffered due to negligence by governments and mining activities.
The protesting CSOs held a match past and later delivered a petition to Mine Safety Department Director, Gideon Ndalama.
Energy minister, Dora Siliya also addressed the protesting activists.
