Downtown shopping mall management has sued Diamond insurance company for alleged failure to pay for repairs of the shopping mall after a hail storm ripped part of the Mall roof early this year.
Downtown management claims it notified the insurance company over the damages caused to the property, but the company allegedly refused to pay for the repairs.
Management is claiming over One Million Kwacha from the insurance company as the cost of repairs under a policy of comprehensive insurance dated 24th April 2015.
This is according to a statement of claim filed in the Lusaka high court.
