The Electoral Commission of Zambia-ECZ-has warned that it will suspend the 2016 general election campaigns if the current political violence continues.
ECZ Spokesperson, Crispine Akufuna says the commission will also disqualify political parties and their candidates who will be found to be fueling violence.
Mr. Akufuna says the commission has noted with dismay the rising levels of violence and intolerance in the run up to the August 11th 2016 General elections.
