Lusaka Records Reduction In Malaria Cases

The use of Insecticide Treated Nets and the Indoor Residue Spray Programe has seen a reduction in Malaria cases in Lusaka.
Lusaka Province Medical Officer Dr Kennedy Malama says only three people are presenting malaria cases in every one thousand persons compared to about five hundred cases recorded in the past.
Dr Malama, however, notes that there are still some residents refusing to use malaria preventive methods in Lusaka.
