Zambia In Positive Start At CAA

Zambia makes an impressive start at the ongoing Confederation of African Athletics southern region under 20 championships.
In the track event Zambia has minted one gold medal, silver and five bronze medals while in the field event Zambia minted one silver and two bronze.
Zambia’s first gold medal came through Aaron Hiyanwa.
Victor Chewe minted a bronze in the ten thousand meters race when he came out third in the race.
Sydney Siame minted a silver in 100 meters race while, Brain Kasanda collected a bronze in the same event.
While in the girls 400 meters Abigal chongo who was taking part in the championship for the first minted a bronze.
The championship is being used as the deciding tournament to the senior championship which is slated for South Africa.
