5000 Copperbelt Squatters In Land Bonanza

Over Six Thousand hectors of the Copperbelt Mwekera Forest Land Reserve which was encroached has officially been offered to the five thousand squatters.
This comes after President Edgar Lungu signed a statutory instrument to allow demarcation of settlement land.
Presenting the offer letters, Vice President Inonge Wina urged the beneficiaries not to sell the offered land.
Mrs. Wina then addressed two rallies in Kitwe’s Itimpi and Wusakile wards where she called on residents not to be swayed by the opposition.
