25 More Maize Laden Trucks Impounded

Twenty Five trucks loaded with maize allegedly targeted for smuggling have been impounded.
This brings the total number of trucks impounded in less than a month to 34.
Lusaka Province Chairperson against Maize Smuggling, Stardy Mwale says the maize targeted as well as the trucks used will be forfeited to the state.
Mr. Mwale who inspected the trucks also disclosed that the taskforce team has since written to the Zambia Revenue authority on possibilities to forfeit the nine trucks which were impounded earlier.
