Fuel Transportation Earnings Hit K14 Million In June

About 14 million kwacha has been raised from oil transportation charges in the past one month.
The profit is from transport charges for over ten million liters of fuel from Dar-es-salaam in Tanzania and Beira in Mozambique into the country.
Association General Secretary Benson Tembo says the impressive invoice made shows that the awarding of the contracts to local transporters has yielded fruits.
And Zambia Union of Tanker Drivers and Allied Workers general secretary Humphrey Kapesha says the awarding of contracts to local transporters has brought about economic freedom.
