Flying Doctors Launch Air Transportation Of Medicines

The Zambia Flying Doctor Service has launched the air transportation of medicines and medical supplies to needy areas.
This is with support from the global fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
Speaking at the event minister of health Dr. Joseph Katema says government will improve service delivery in the health sector.
Flying Doctor Service Executive Director Fabian Kabulubulu says about five million kwacha will be spent on air transportation of commodities in 20 districts.
Some of the targeted areas that have challenges in reaching health facilities include Luano Valley, Chilubi, Chama and Itezhi-Tezhi.
