3 PF Cadres Deny Charges of Being in Possession of Offensive Weapons

Three PF cadres of Lusaka have pleaded not guilty to being in possession of offensive weapons.
Allegations are that Ignatius Munge aged 21, 37 years old Richard Sakanda and Chisanga Makumba aged 38 on 7th May 2016 jointly and whilst acting together caused commotion by throwing stones at motorists along Mumbwa road and without lawful authority.
The trio is also alleged to have been in possession of offensive weapons namely two wooden pick handles and a long button in a motor vehicle.
Magistrate Chabala has since granted the trio Eight Thousand Kwacha cash bail and two working sureties from reputable organizations in the sum of two thousand kwacha to be paid in their own recognizance.
The matter comes up on 25th July 2016.
