Financial Analyst Noel Nkoma says the newly launched African Union passport will open new trade opportunities for Africa.
Mr. Nkoma says the passport will break down trade barriers that the continent has been grappling with for a longtime.
The Pan-African passport was launched, on Sunday, at the opening ceremony of the 27th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union in Rwanda.
The Heads of State and top AU officials will be the first to receive the travel document.
