Residents of Lusaka’s Kanyama and Chibolya Compounds are up in arms against Management at the Children International Zambia Centre in Chibolya over what they term poor management of resources.
They have charged that donor funds are not being used for the intended, hence leaving more than 4,000 children dropping out of school due to lack of funding.
John Mukange, a Chairperson for the volunteers working at the centre says out of the 6,000 children registered for school funding, only 2,000 have this year been catered for.
When reached for a comment the Children International Chibolya Centre Project Coordinator only identified as Nachilima referred all queries to the country’s head offices who could not give a position on the matter.
