Conflict Prevention Training Kicks Off

Dag Hammarskjold Institute for Peace and conflict studies has embarked on a programe to train people in conflict prevention prior to 2016 general elections.
Researcher and Lecturer at the Copperbelt University Dr. Rose Makano says the move is aimed at curbing the political violence which has engulfed some parts of the country ahead of the August elections.
Mrs. Makano is, however, confident that the training will help stop the violence during and after elections.
