Congo Dr Hands Over Explosives To Zambia

The Democratic Republic of Congo has handed over explosives to Zambia for use in the completion of the pedicle road.
The DRC government had confiscated the explosives from Zambian contractor, Copperfield Mining Services, after they had expressed terrorism concerns due to the blasts.
The ceremonious handover comes after a meeting between Upper Katanga Governor Jean-Claude Kazembe Musonda and Copperbelt province Minister Mwenya Musenge.
The contractor is using the explosives to smash the rocks in order to prepare the ground to complete the 70 kilometre pedicle road.
