Consumers Rights Body Advise On Unfair Trade

The Competition and Consumer Protection – CCPC, has urged consumers across the country to be vigilant of unfair trading acts which might be noticed during the 90th Agriculture and Commercial Show scheduled for later this month.
The commission has urged both the traders and members of the public to be responsible during this period by ensuring that no expired or improperly labelled product is displayed for sale.
Show goers are therefore advised to check out for vital information such as expiry and manufacturing dates, labels as well as ensuring that electronic products are tested before paying for them.
This is according to a statement by Competition and Consumer Protection Commission Public Relations Officer Hanford Chaaba.
