Copperbelt Business Community Sensitised On Comesa Harmonised Standards

The Zambia Bureau of Standards has started sensitization meetings on the Comesa harmonised standards to the business sector on the Copperbelt Province.
Speaking when opening the meeting, acting Kitwe district commissioner Chikafuna Banda says it is important to ensure that the business sector is aware of the accepted standards across the region in order to facilitate trade.
He says internationally set standards help in promoting competition and value addition to goods and services
