Court Denies Post Newspapers Access to Documents

An attempt by the post newspapers lawyer to have the Lusaka magistrate court enforce an order of the tax appeals tribunal has failed.
Chisuwo Hamwela pleaded with the court to allow the newspaper Company access documents for the case in which post Editor In Chief Fred M’membe, Rainbow Party Leader Wynter and post have been dragged to court for contempt of court.
Mr. Hamwela asked the court to allow the accused access the documents in conformity with the tribunal order, an application which the court refused to determine.
