Over 5000 Bags of Maize Meant For ‘Illegal Export’ Seized

More than five thousand by fifty kilogram bags of maize allegedly meant for illegal export has been seized.
The maize seized from various parts of the country was to be illegally exported to Zimbabwe, Malawi and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Taskforce against Illegal Smuggling Chairperson, Steady Mwale both the trucks and the commodity seized from the various operations will be forfeited to the state.
