A traditional leader in Kawambwa, Luapula Province has urged political leaders not to give their cadres alcohol because the practice is stirring violence.
Sub Chief Kabila of the Chishinga people has observed that political violence is also being provoked by the intake of alcohol by cadres.
He says he has on several times, seen for himself political leaders using alcohol as an inducement to win votes from people.
Sub Chief Kabila also says Zambia being a Christian Nation should set an example of having non-violent elections.
