Street Vendors Concerned Over Unfulfilled Soft Loans Promise

Street vendors in Lusaka have complained of delayed payment of their promised soft loans.
The vendors say despite having been told that the funds would be available within a few days, they have not received anything for over two months now.
But United Street Venders Association Lusaka District Secretary, Steven Banda says the delay is as due to the slow pace of compiling names of beneficiaries by the post office headquarters in Ndola.
Mr. Banda however says the majority of the funds have already been disbursed.
