Sustainability Of Free Primary Education Policy Questionable-Report

A report on the education gaps and domestic financing in Zambia has revealed that the sustainability of the free primary education policy is questionable.
The report compiled by Grayson Koyi a researcher at the University of Zambia states that schools still face many costs such as purchasing school materials and school maintenance.
Mr Koyi further stresses that education grants have decreased over time and that with the increase in the number of schools funding has become erratic.
