Team Of Auditors Claims Failure To Detect Foreigners On Voters Register

A team of auditors tasked to audit the 2016 voter register claims it has failed to detect suspected foreigners who are alleged to have registered as voters ahead of the August 11, 2016 elections.
The two Auditors claim that it did not have sufficient time to fully investigate the allegations.
However, the findings have further revealed that North-Western and Western Province has a high number of registered voters, as compared to the initial projected rate.
This came to light at Lusaka’s Mulungungushi International Conference Center during the Electoral Commission of Zambia-ECZ meeting aimed at releasing the results of the Audit of the 2016 Register of Voters.
