UNZA Employees Warn Of Monthly Go-Slows

The University of Zambia and Allied Workers Union-UNZAWU has warned of a go slow should government delay their salaries.
The union demands that salaries must be paid before the last day of every month.
UNZAWU General Secretary Mulabika Willa says unionized workers will now be going on a go slow on the first day of every month if salaries are not paid on time.
Mr. Willa says this was agreed upon by the executive members during an executive meeting held on July 14, 2016.
UNZAWU has further demanded that all arrears owed to workers and retires in allowance must be paid before August 11 2016.
