Shoprite Workers Resume Operations

Shoprite workers have gone back to work on verbal assurances of negotiations for pay rise set to resume on Monday.
The workers have been assured of a pay rise.
The decision was reached at during a meeting held with labor Minister, Fackson Shamenda, Shoprite management and union leaders.
National union of commercial and industrial workers president Robert Munsanje says the workers concerns for a pay rise are genuine.
And normal operations have resumed at Livingstone Shoprite outlets following a near countrywide strike by workers over a wage dispute.
