Human Rights Commission Condemns PF Violence Against UPND

The Human Rights Commission has condemned the violence which was perpetrated by Patriotic Front-PF cadres against the UPND in Mtendere.
Human Rights Commission Chief of Information, Education and Training Mweelwa Muleya says it is regrettable and disappointing to note that the violence took place just three days before the General Elections.
Mr Muleya says what happened was not only a violation of the right to peaceful assembly and expression, but also an affront to democracy and good governance.
He said this in a statement issued to MUVI TV News.
