Bandits Steal K 198,000 From Fra Depot

Suspected armed bandits have stolen 198 thousand kwacha from a Cargill Zambia maize depot in Muswishi in Kapiri Mposhi.
The theft happened on Tuesday night in which a maize buyer and two security guards were seriously injured and are hospitalized in the Kabwe general hospital.
However, police in central province have apprehended some suspects who are currently in custody.
Efforts to get a report on the incident from central province commissioner of police, Lombe Kamukoshi proved futile; although her deputy, Yobe Luhana confirmed theft but could not divulge more details.
