Presidential candidates contesting next week’s elections have been challenged to state clearly how they will deal with the high interest rates.
Currently bank interest rates are up to 48 percent, making it hard for small and medium enterprises to access loans.
Financial analyst, Blessings Kafwanka says the current situation is not conducive for the growth of the economy hence the need for clear policies on how each political party will deal with the situation.
