Cosafa Fines Zambia Over Age Cheating

Zambia has between now and 15th October, 2016 to pay five thousand US Dollars to COSAFA or face a two year suspension from participating at any youth tournament for age cheating.
COSAFA has however banned the under-17 national soccer team coach Oswad Mutapa and team manager Collins Phiri for two years after age cheating scandal.
FAZ General Secretary, Ponga Liwewe says Cosafa has also banned two players Nichilas Mulilo and Benjamin Phiri for two years after being found wanting in age cheating.
Liwewe says the association will pay the Five Thousand US Dollars to avoid a suspension.
The Zambia under 17 national team was recently disqualified from the COSAFA youth tournament in Mauritius for age cheating.
