EU Reinforces Elections Observer Team

The European Union has beefed up its election observation team ahead of the 11th August polls.
EU Chief Observer Cecile Kyenge says 56 short term observers have been deployed to reinforce the teams in the ten provinces.
She says on Election Day the observers will follow all election related activities at various polling stations across the ten provinces.
The EU team will present preliminary findings of the mission at a media briefing in Lusaka two days after the elections.
