Ex-Boxing Champion Chingangu Badly Beaten For Alleged Theft

Former African Boxing Union-ABU heavyweight champion Joseph ‘No pressure’ Chingangu is nursing serious wounds at the Levy Mwanawasa General Hospital after a mob of UNZA students beat him up and left him for dead for allegedly stealing a mobile phone and three laptops.
Chingangu was allegedly caught by the UNZA students in one of the hostels in the late hours of Sunday at the Great East road campus.
UNZA Radio sports Director Charles Ziwa has told MUVI TV NEWS that Chingangu threatened and punched students who were accusing him of theft.
However, the 49 year old’s efforts to duck the growing mob failed when they knocked him down through the use of all sorts of missiles before he was taken at UNZA security point.
