Ex-Chipolopolo Player Goes In 25 Years

Former Zambia national football team midfielder Duddley Fichite has been sentenced to 25 years with hard labour for sexually abusing his 10 year old niece.
Lusaka High court Judge ‎Sharon Newa jailed Fichite, a former assistant coach at Division One South side Riflemen after finding him guilty of the offence.
Fichite, a staff sergeant of Arakan Barracks, allegedly had carnal knowledge of his ten-year-old niece in Kamwala South whom he also infected with HIV and syphilis in December 2014.
He denied the charge, but four prosecution witnesses testified against him and the former Chipolopolo player was found with a case to answer.
The girl went for a holiday at his residence and while there, on a date unknown, Fichite in a drunken state defiled her at night but the girl never reviewed to the aunty, Mrs. Fichite.
Fichite has since appealed to the Supreme Court.
