Solwezi Street Lighting Faces Hiccup

The street lighting project in Solwezi town has suffered a setback following high levels of vandalism of electric cables by some unscrupulous residents.
Solwezi Municipal Council Public Relations officer Thandiwe Tembo says the local authority needs K 300,000 to replace stolen cables to light up the central business district.
Ms. Tembo has also bemoaned the high cases of drivers hitting down the street light poles.
She was speaking to Muvi Tv news in Solwezi.
