3 National Parks Recruits Drown

Three National parks and wild life Authority formerly-ZAWA-recruits have died after drowning in a dam in the Kafue National Park whilst on training.
Zambia Police Service deputy spokesperson Esther Katongo and Ministry of Tourism and Arts Public Relations Officer, Sakabilo Kalembwe have confirmed.
Ms Katongo identified the deceased as Jacob Phiri, 19, Chanda Chifwembe, 21, and Collins Ntondo who died during training at Chunga Wildlife Training School in Kafue National Park.
She says another recruit identified as Patrick Chandeshi survived and is currently admitted to Mumbwa District Hospital
Police have since instituted an inquiry to ascertain the cause of death of the three recruits.
