1.1 Million Copperbelt Children Receive Measles Rubella Vaccine

Over 1.1 million children have been vaccinated against measles rubella on the Copperbelt province.
Provincial medical officer Consity Mwale says the figure represents a one hundred and four percent turnout of children between the ages of nine months and 15 years old.
Dr. Mwale has attributed the positive response to the Copperbelt’s community resolve to eliminate measles rubella.
Zambia last week carried out measles rubella vaccination.
