Newly appointed Finance Minister, Felix Mutati says the road to economic recovery will be painful and calls for sacrifice.
He says he is confident that Zambians will pull together to deal with the difficulties lying ahead.
Mr. Mutati has also called for transformation of the civil service from a consumption based to a productive civil service.
The New Finance Minister was speaking to the media at state house shortly after being sworn in.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mutati says he will continue to serve as MMD President despite being appointed in the PF Government.
