NHA Workers Sit in Protest Enters Day Two

The sit in protest by National Housing Authority-NHA-workers has entered day two.
The workers are protesting nonpayment of their six months salaries.
But the Zambia Congress of trade union-ZCTU-and the Zambia united local authorities workers union-ZULAWU-have appealed to the workers to resume work.
ZCTU deputy general Secretary who is also Zambia United Authority workers union President, Misheck Nyambose says the workers should resume work as the union discusses with management on the way forward.
The workers says they will only go back to work on 22nd October, 2016 the day management has promised will pay the outstanding salary arrears.
