Kabwe Youth Academy football team Director Evans Mutangama is happy with the manner in which his side played against Nkana in the Top Eight Quarter finals.
Mutangama says rubbing shoulders with elite sides like Nkana gave his boys self-belief in that the game gave them an opportunity to showcase their talent at a higher stage.
The Kabwe based youthful side gave the 12- time Zambian league champions a torrid time especially in the first half.
Nkana had to come from behind to put the division one side to the sword with a 3-1 scoreline after suffering an early scare when man of the match Daniel Chama drove home a well taken penalty in the 46th Minute.
Sensing danger, Nkana hit back 10 minutes later through Bornwell Mwape who scored a brace while Austin Muwowo grabbed the third goal to confirm a semifinal place for the Kitwe giants.
