Youths Urged To Play Leading Role In Promoting Tourism

Newly crowned Miss Tourism Zambia Luwi Kawanda has challenged fellow youths to take a leading role in supplementing government’s efforts in transforming the nation into a tourism sanctuary.
Kawanda who made her remarks moments after scooping the annual award has charged that collective approach is needed across the section of society to market culture and vast wildlife that the country is blessed with.
She says young people must maximize their energy to champion progress unlike the idle mindset among many youths.
Kawanda bagged four thousand kwacha prize money and will be an Ambassador of the Ministry of Tourism and Arts.
